Why We Hate Jane, part 2

We had a practice match against Jane last night. Firstly, we did not lose even though they have allegedly been practicing since March and most of our practices have less than a full team show up. We also did not win, it was a draw 0-0. really exciting match...actually it was pretty fun, a little stressful. the halves were supposed to be 20 minutes (rather than 40) and in the first half that happened. just before the second one started the lights went off, we got them back on and played for a little, but then they went off again. we just called it a game. there was some good stuff, i had a monster tackle that i'm proud of

and apparently tommy c had a sweet tackle together, but don't really remember that one. also apparently everyone though my neck turned mush destroyed during a tackle, but i was completely fine. I don't remember that one at all, it must have looked worse than it was. The bad part of my play was the line outs. the first half i think i got penalties on half and they stole half the rest. luckily it got better the second half, either that or there were fewer opportunities to screw up.
so playing against Jane doesn't necessarily mean that we hate them. it was actually very nice of them to agree to play us. BUT they were kind of unsportsman like dicks, or at least their hooker was. He tried to distract me on line ins and such, during a friendly practice game. i will not repeat his foul words to my reader. also his knee somehow found my head during a ruk. as ira put it, i'm not saying it was intentional, i'm just saying he's a ****. anyway, no one got hurt on either side during the game, and many people played really well. there were plenty of mistakes and lots to improve on, but not bad for our first practice game
We also got to wear our Fisher rugby jumpers for the first time, we actually looked like a team. a blue and white team
