Very near disaster averted. Yesterday I was working on my bird list and was really proud of myself so I went on facebook to brag to Amy about it. I asked her how hers was going and she wondered why I wasn't more worried about the Eagle Video Report. Brilliant Toby mixed up which assignment was due which week. Another sleepless night for Toby. I got to work rewatching the video and was making progress. The pharmy army was working on some problemset, but they were keeping relatively quiet. It was being relatively productive...then Jes got back from church and all work halted for a good 45 minutes. eventually she crutched off to distract jason from doing work. my work ethic never quite recovered. I got a very good draft done at around 4 pm. This involved sitting and working in the common room as people watched The Master of Disguise. Dana Carvey disgraced himself. That was probably more painful to watch than the paper was to write. They also went to Mackas (mcdonalds) where Branchy's car broke down. It was funny to hear about as I struggled away at my paper. The rest of the day wasn't great on so little sleep. I survived class but we essentially had a mini-exam in prac. It was supposedly due in a few weeks, but Rob decided to make it due at the end of the prac. I think I spent more time looking at my slide begging it to reveal its secrets than actually making progress. We finished up our plant collection project after the prac and Rob started playing music, including YMCA, a little surprising i have to admit.
Rugby practice didn't kill as I expected it to with so little sleep. The only bad thing was when tackling Dylan, his ankle got caught and twisted pretty badly. I was scared he'd take revenge when tackling me, but it was all good. Hopefully with some ice it'll be all healed
We also had an OGM, a college wide general meeting, but it wasn't quite as exciting as the last one. We did throw stuff at the moat boy (Ira), but the punishments were pretty weak. Jes gave me a punishment for throwing a key at her. weak, the rest of it was all of that level. Our punishment was that being stuffed in the handicapped shower and sprayed with cold water as everyone sang war cries. it was entertaining, but quite chilly. I survived the day, and the week only gets easier
