Big Rugby Day

Yesterday was the big day: Rugby. The results were: girls were down three tries when we started warming up and stopped paying attention. Guys lost 17-19. painful both emotionally and physically. The only worrying thing was that Bruce took a high tackle and was essentially knocked out towards the end. He was able to walk off the field. that got everyone very fired up, and by that i mean we had to physically restrain Tickets from murdering there entire team. I also sprained my wrist about halfway through the first half, but we all ignored that and played on. The line outs were a disaster, though apparently Christ was taking extra steps they shouldn't or something like that. Also their feeds into the scrum were pretty BS, they were essentially tossing it to the second row. sigh, whatever. there was some pretty good play on both sides, especially their passing across the field and our defense. i wont bore you with the details of every tackle and try (Tickets, Paddy, and Gav each got one, though maybe ziggy should have had Gav's). This was around 2:30pm, and people just kept going and drinking and drinking and drinking. i was involved for a little bit, but soon ran off to my room to take a nap. at around 10 i headed down to the common room and found that everything had moved and most surfaces were covered in goon. jason joined me and someone brought it some watermelon. this message was sent to all the drunk people still standing. they converged on the common room. Jason and I put up our feet and thoroughly enjoyed another episode of The Common Room: Drunk Edition. It was hilarious. things ranged from Lisa declaring that Choppa was not having sex, to Lisa charging Kaitlin into a wall. A very funny end to the day. Possibly the highest rated episode yet
