There's a Snake (lizard) in my Boot (food)

It's been so long since i've posted, i was testing to see who would notice. actually i just didn't internet for a few days again. please forgive me. i hope you all got the toy story reference by the way, for that leads to today's first story. yesterday we were out, you guessed it, birding. so being only moderately crazy, i had to call it a bit before they did. i come back into the little bungalow we're staying in and see a lizard. i immediately start chasing it and trying to catch, but it was too fast and kept slipping away anytime i got a hand on it. it escaped though a hole in the wall. then i returned to the counter intent on having some of the chocolate i had left on the counter. i grab the box and another lizard scoots out from it and runs away. BASTARD! why some people may have considered the chocolate ruined, i am not so much of a neat freak. another lizard was found in the bread. no one minded.
part two of the post: Why I am better and at birding that my parents
i know you're really tired of this stuff by now, but bear with me for this (see how i mentioned another animal instead). this morning we were looking at silhouette of brown bird number 87. i was bored. i thought heard parrots that our guide loves to ignore. i saw this really fast bird flying across the meadow, and pointed it out. it was a peregrine falcon. boom. Toby: 1, Parents and everyone else: 0.
The coolest video you'll watch today: camera strapped to peregrine diving at 200mph (1000 kilometers per hour)

Today we went to a lighthouse and saw some not birds! dolphins. granted they were kilometers (miles) away. then i was waiting as my dad returned from searching for little brown silhouettes and on his return pointed up the hill and exclaimed that there was an echidna coming.
This Echidna in fact
It decided it wanted a drink and nothing, not humans or grass or rushes could stop it. it marched in an adorable fashion. when god/nature created this creature they just weren't paying attention. they through some reptile in and then some with mammal, and then added spikes for the hell of it.
And last night we went and saw penguins. yes penguins. little, blue, penguins. they were adorable. apparently they can't make any noise without moving their wings, so whenever you heard them it looked like they were stretching or flapping around. it was beyond cute. i can't really put it into words
