Firstly: Me. I've already been introduced
Secondly: Mother Dearest. Dr. Abrams can truthfully be credited as the architect of this trip. I told her I wanted to go to Australia, she sighed and then set it all up. Every adventure on the traveling leg of this trip is to her credit. She also completely overplans and worries about everything, kind of a pessimist...That said, hopefully escaping to sunny Australia will keep her from expecting everything to go wrong.
Thirdly: Father. Before anything we should establish the one horribly rude habit that my father is completely unapologetic for: being late. Seriously, the rule is any time he says add 3 to 30 minutes to it. He decided to take some time off from his ultramarathon training (did I mention he likes to run too?) and doctoring to come to Australia. I don't think he will make to it to Tasmania, he has to return to do doctor things. So having him along will stress my mom because we'll always be running late. He will likely be the birding leader of our (he likes birding too)
Fourthly: Chubbo. Chubbo is a penguin I received when I was 9 years old.
Not Chubbo, I tried to attach an actual picture, but the internet is evil |
He has accompanied me on many trips around the world and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. He likes to ride around in bags and sleep on beds all day, but sometimes he reluctantly serves as a makeshift pillow. He is an essential part of any family travel
The Airplane leaves in 80 minutes, stage one is about to begin
